MY VT MEETINGS

Meeting with Darshan (durfun on VT)
I've met Darshan in Bucharest, the VT gang was completed with Iosif (josephescu), Ioana (Io_anna) and Mihaela (Mi_). We had an interesting talk about clans and business, while having an Italian meal :)

Meeting with Ioana (tabatha on VT)
Ioana is a very special person and of course a heavy traveller and respected VT member. Though we are friends, being also born in the same country, we did not meet but only two times, one it was back in 2003 when she was very kind to welcome us in her home during the Oktoberfest, and the second time on November 1st 2005 in Bucharest, during her tiny tiny short visit here.

Meeting with Marisa (nemoa on VT)
Marisa and Javier came to see Romania, and they really have visited a lot of the middle-northern part, some more then I saw, then they came to Bucharest, where I gave them the short tour. It was really great, and we've got the most beautiful weather we could want. I really enjoyed walking in Bucharest with Marisa and Javier on such lovely weather. She's got many pics from Romania, but guess limited time to build VT pages.

Meeting with Supun (supune on VT):
I was happy to finally participate in a big VT meeting in Bucharest, when Supune has visited Bucharest (for a very short while .. because he choose more to see the rest of the country .. which is by all means a good tactic). There were five VT members at the meeting: supune, sweety76, romanian_bat, cezar1972 and yours truly, but each brought more people and we were a total of nine people having dinner at Vatra restaurant, that Supun himself had chosen. I just hope that the food in Romania didn't gave him an indigestion, because we use to 'spoil' guests with our traditional cuisine, which is by far 'light' :) Check the meeting travelogue for more pictures!

Meeting with Angela (shockgirl on VT)
Angela and her husband - from the US - chose Romania for their first Europe trip. We had the meeting in Bucharest after they have driven many miles on different roads linking parts of Romania. Only the roads could be a story to tell, because they took the shortest route on the map and that's not quite good in here :) I will have some pictures soon from our meeting at the La Taifas pub.

Bucharest meeting to organize the Sibiu post-Krakow meeting in 2010
We gathered at Andreea's (andraf on VT) nice house, with Delia_Madalina and petruta and talked about organizing an international VT meeting in Sibiu in 2010 as a post-meeting of the 6th EuroVTmeeting in Krakow. Andreea told us stories about her stay in California and trips to Argentina. I loved her collection of travel books :)
