One of the Nicest Times of the Year

Got My Champagne Apples
September and October are really nice in Albuquerque. Besides the beautiful weather, many things happen during that time of year. Things start with the Bernalillo Wine Festival on Labor Day weekend. The NM State Fair cranks up in the middle of September and the famous Dixon Champagne apples usually ripen at the end of of the month. The Balloon Fiesta starts the first weekend in October and McCall's Pumpkin Patch opens the week before Halloween. Arounf Thanksgiving real winter arrives. It may snow and be windy. It will make you wish for Spring.
