Formula1 my other passion: Jerez tests Jan 2008

by Carmela71 - last update: Oct 11, 2008

Formula 1 my other passion

Fernando Alonso in the R28
I will not pay hundreds of euros to see them in a Grand prix, with that money I can go one week away hehehe, also I like watching it on the TV making sure I do not miss anything that happends.

But I love going to the tests, It is cheap (around 5 euros), lots of people, but enough space to move aorund and watch them from different angles, giving us the option to enjoy the other of our hobbies, the photography!

And of course we can take that week for travelling around, the places for tests in Spain deserve some time off to discover them: Jerez de la frontera, Valencia and Barcelona.

I remember F1 with my dad when i was younger, but I guess I stop following them as soon as I stop being with him. It was only a few years ago when a spanish kid got a podium in Malasya, when I got back interested (before you could not even see on tv!). That spanish kid now is twice champion and in my opinion is one fo the best drivers of F1 right now. The most complete, as F1 is not only to be fast, is also to be intelligent and he drives very inteligently ... He has a bright future in his hands (not this year of course with the R28 LOL)

Yes that kid was Fernando Alonso!

Finally he is not driving anymore a "turtle", finally he has a car to fight and there is nothing he likes more than being able to fight for a podium!!!!

Ferrari: Kimi Raikonen

Ferrari: Felipe Massa

McLaren: Lewis Hamilton

McLaren: Heiki Kovalainen

Red Bull: David Coulthard

Toro Rosso

One of the Sebastians ... pending to confirm ...

BMW:

Sorry no photos for this one, they did not go to the tests that time .... Maybe in the future I will be lucky to see Robert Kubica (watch that kid, I said last year that he is good, but I think his accident in Canada, he slowed down a bit, but watch him!!)
Heidfield, nobody wants to be behaind him LOL, he is hard to pass.
