On Holiday I nearly always travel with my husband (unless he can't go due to work) as he's very laid back and allows me to organise all our trips and decide where we go. Once there, he is the navigator and driver as I'm useless at finding my way around!!! |

Work trip traveller I've been lucky to accompany my husband on many work related trips to places in Australia (where we lived from 2001-2002) and around the Middle East. Our longest trip was to Al Ain for 6 weeks from Nov 2006 - Jan 2007. |
Not often back in the UK for Christmas/New Year! We often don't get back home to the UK for Christmas/New Year as we prefer to be in a warm climate somewhere. |

I love camels!! I have taken so many pictures of camels since I've been here in the Middle East. I know they are smelly but I love their faces. The funniest camel I ever saw was on a beach in Australia who had a clever party trick. His owner would put a bottle of cola in the sand with the top off and the camel would take it in it's mouth, tip its head right back and drink it in about 3 seconds! I have a photo somewhere but it's from the days when I used film. |
