Skopelos is exceptionally beautiful, with scenic coves, white churches and monasteries among farmhouses glimpsed through olive groves on even slopes under a brilliant sun. The island also fascinates the visitor with its historical past, the ruins of the medieval castle and the ruins of the ancient temple.
