The state of Kerala, aptly termed as "God's Own Country", is a slim, beautiful and picturesque land which clings to the western mountains of India along the shores of Arabian sea. The green forest highlands are it's great protective back-bone and covers nearly 28% of it's land.This range is lush green and very scenic. The Western of part of Kerala is covered by Arabian Sea and have some marvellous pristine beaches along it's shore. Kerala also have large beautiful screne inland lakes called back-waters or Kuttanad.
The National Geographic Traveller has termed Kerala as one of the "Must See Paradises" of the world. |
