My smiling days

by BruceDunning - last update: Aug 8, 2008

Restraining Order

Downtown St. Louis Park
We used to go downtown a lot to take in the riverfront attractions as well as the Arch. St. Louis city area is really a nice place to be, and activities abound.
Happy to Keep Warm

Happy Gift

Micky picks out the best presents/gifts and always surprises with something she knows I need. I wish I had that trait.
Scary Situation

Not Crabby Here

Scary things did not normally bother Becky, so maybe she was faking this? Her aunt and Uncle form Marietta are the strong supporteers of Becky for years, and treat her almost like their own daughter. They think of her in their daily lives and Becky appreciates the sincere concern and affection for her.
Pensive Thought

Somber Moment

This was taken at the Pearl Harbor Memorial for the Arizona and other ships sunk. It really had an impact and all Americans should see this type of memorial to know why they get to do the free things they can do daily they way they want to.
People sacrifice lives to allow this, and everyone needs to acknolwedge that fact, and lives lost in a cause shuld hold patriotism to its utmost.
SAme Seat, next year Gift
This is the second picture where I do not look so ugly, in my opinion, and smiling at the same time. So I added this to the folio.
Waiting to Smile After Opening the Presents

Preparing to GEt in the Mood

This was another Christmas year and more presents. Oh my, oh my, how hapy can one be?
In Germany, do as the locals do, with gusto

I CAn Handle-I am not Driving

At the Hofbrahaus in Munich. I have been there 4-5 times, and they never seem to run out of beer. The irony is they need to cut down the foam so I can get more liquid, but is that German? It is a fun hall and people really get into the swing of things there. Good times.
GAte on the outside, not inside

A Trip of Joy

This was taken in SAn Gimignano in 2005. It really depicts the wonderful smiles of both of us. Usually we do not have joint pictures because I am handling the camcorder and she takes care of the digital camera. Both of us seek out sites to take and remember upon return; if we can only remember which town or country we were in at the time.

Not visiting the US has been of necessity, not through choice. And when I do get there (maybe soon, don't know) it is the desert national parks which have long attracted me. So I will look, and wish, and keep my fingers crossed for a possibility! :-) J

Hi Bruce, thank you for visiting my Vilnius page. Your hiking trip sounds amazing! Have you taken any more pictures like the one on this page? It's just great!
