Yes. Kolkata is popularly known as India's 'Skyscraper City'. There are a thousand reasons why. One of them is the tall towers and huge buildings that adorn the city's skyline.
Here I have shown some of the highrises in Kolkata.

Seen in this picture is a part of Chowringhee Road.

This is Chatterjee International, which houses some of the city's business offices.

This is the intersection of Camac Street with A.J.C. Bose Road.

The famous Everest House and Millenium Centre on J.L. Nehru Road.

A traffic jam in the heart of Kolkata. In the background, at a distance can be seen some highrises.

Well, this picture was taken from the A.J.C. Bose Road flyover, which gives a wonderful view of Kolkata's skyline.

This pearl-white building is the popular Air-Conditioned Market on Shakespeare Sarani.
