19/6/07 " I am sitting in the icy breeze of a glacier, Eagle's nest was shut so I instead caught a bus to the beautiful Konningssee, took a boat to St Batholoma's Chapel and followed a forest track to Somewhere, which turned out to be this incredible place
....The day is glorious so i sat at the glacier and tasted the cool fresh flowing water. Stood in the ice air jet stream until it was too cold then moved out from its path and sat and watched butterflies. One landed on me.
....I walked back along the river bed, through the forest which glowed with chlorophyll and met a most lovely Swiss couple. Am now at the St Bartholoma Historich Gaststatte drinking a Konig Pilsner. I'm smiling with every cell of my body:)" |
