I thought of sharing little bit more of myself with other VTers here.

My real name is Zunairah and I'm the 3rd of 9 siblings. I was born on Friday, August 9th 1974. I'm heading 34 in a couple of months since its already New Year 2008.

Born in Kuala Kangsar, Perak at a house which is no longer there! The foto here was taken when I was 2 years old, right in front of the house.

Some how, all the photoes taken during that period have some yellowish background to it.

I was raised up as an only daughter for about 6 years before my mom gave birth to another daughter in 1980 so I'm a bit of a spoilt brat. Brought up with 2 elder brothers I tend to be boyish in my dressing until my little brother & sister arrived to the world.

I even have experiences in climbing the trees, playing the war games with the boys and other sorts of wonderful memories as a little girl growing up with 2 elder brothers.

Then, I guess the surrounding forced me to change to be the true 'big sister'. What do you expect when I finally have 3 younger brothers & 3 younger sisters?.

After all, I'm the eldest daughter in the family.

I went to an all-girls school for 5 years before our family moved to Penang. Then after finishing my primary 6, I was selected to enter one of the boarding school in Malaysia. This was where the true growing up happened.

Being far away from my family at the very young age of 13 (until 17) made me looks at life in a different way. I met and made new friends and treasure the real meaning of friendship. Some of my travelling domestically also began here.

Then, furthering my studies to the tetiary level, literally 'thrown' away to very remote area in Kedah. I graduated in 1997 with Honours in Accountancy after spending abot 5 years studying. Ups & downs as a university student made me learnt a lot

Hhhmmm....I actually was out of work for about a year after my graduation. Nothing to regret as that year also my late father had his stroke. He was not able to drive any longer so I became his 'driver'. That was before my eldest brother came back from his study in Egypt. It was a tough time for the whole family as he almost lost the mobility of his left side of the body. Things do get better but we have to live with whatever we have of him.

I was called to report for duty in Kuala Lumpur (KL) in May 1998. That is the real step into employment world for me. Coming from not too well-to-do family, I came to KL by bus with some saving in the bank and a rather small luggage and knew nothing on what to expect.

Whatever it is, I have been with this same company for almost 10 years now. The company has been doing well so far which is attributed to the current volatile world oil prices.

I knew him for about 3 years before we decided to get married in 2006. I have known others before him but none was a firm relationship.

To tell you the truth, I havent had a boy friend or should I say real men friend during my studies. I befriended few guys in my course of work, but that's all there were, remain as friends.

We were married on 09 Dec 2006 and the full reception was held back at my mom's on 23 Dec 2006. Alhamdulillah, everything went well as plan. Vter p_yenyen and Audrey108 attended the solemnisation while Chiabh attended the reception in Kedah.

We are back to our usual life as I'm in KL while my loving dearest hubby is in Terengganu. I'm still waiting for an opening for me to move where he is and vice versa. Whichever come 1st.

As for now, we are concentrating in building our life in way that is fated and hoping to start our own family soon. I do have 2 grown-up step daughters & one is geting married soon.

The lovely couple have chosen 08.08.08 - an auspicious number for the Chinese - to register their marriage before heading to Sweden in Autumn for the reception.

Somehow we get connected thru the love of food! Both of us enjoy good food and we will indeed search for one whenever we travelled!

The next one would be photography. I invested on a small Konica camera of which most of the photoes on my page(s) are taken with. My husband on the other hand is one 'crazy' photographer. For pictures shown on the pages that are taken by him, I will sure to mentioned him in the note to the tips. After all, he took better pictures with his Nikon D200 (and before that Nikon D70).

I'm soon to inherit his Nikon D70 since he wont need it anymore... hehehehe.... For that, I have to find free time to send the flash light for services.

Beside the 2 above, I also love to play Volley ball. Since working, I have represented my Business Sector during our Sports Carnival. Proud to say we have been defending champion for 6 years in a row. Well, thats not me but its a team effort of course.

Reading is also one of my pass time activities. I have a cabinet full of books. Typical for most ladies if not all, I'm into romance though I do read other books too. Amongst my favourite authors are Judith McNaught & Jayne Ann Krantz a.k.a Amanda Quick.
