This is something I can name "my baby". Seeds are my affection since my childhood. I planted many seeds from then. This is one of my most recent trees: A jujube.
Jujube is belong to the same class with olives. They are both Magnoliopsidas. Its leaves are darker and brighter. And the fruit of jujube is sweet. It is also similar to "Elaeagnus angustifolia" or Russian Silverberry, oleaster. But oleaster is a dry fruit and jujube is juicy.

|  | Jujube's fruit These cuties are the fruits of my tree. They were just a few and we travelled to Ayvalik in October to pick them. I wanted to picture them before finishing all. So, here they are.
PS. They are delicious and rare. If you are in Istanbul, you can buy some jujube from the groceries in the fish markets during October. Jujube is Unnap or Hunnap in Turkish. |
