Travel Tips

Even though I lived in Europe for 3 years and traveled extensively to several countries, I have only the "slides" (gasp) as pictures. As you can imagine, digging those out and figuring out how to download them is a nightmare. So....there you have it. Now for the good news....
hubby did give me a wonderful 8.2 megapixel HP digital camera for Christmas 06 and I have practically worn it out already snapping anything and everything. I do have some nice "digs" of Clearwater Florida which I shall try to download and put in here. In the meantime, I have nothing to show (at least to put in here)for all those wonderful places I have seen around the world. Guess my album must start now....... Another thought.....I keep thinking that I simply could NOT compete with all the wonderful and exotic pics already placed in VT by the world-wide traveling members. I could post some local travel pics and comments, but these could hardly compare with what is already here. My computer (or is it me?) is rather slow on uploading pics. Just about the time I think I have a pic all loaded and comments written, I hit some wrong button and walla.....all is gone. Patience, patience. Not high on my tolerance list. Oh well.....
