These are just a few photos that I took around the city. Will add more information to them as I learn more information :).

The first photo is of the city hall, with the spire of Linköpings Cathedral in the background.

An interesting piece of artwork found just opposite the train station.

The artist is Monica Gora. An interesting piece, although I am not sure what it is supposed to symoblise...

Stora Torget

Stora Torget is the central square in Linköping. Lots of cafes, pubs, pizzerias and shoppings stores in the area. Markets are also set up here from time to time.

Fountain

This fountain is found on the opposite side of the road to the metallic sculpture above. Although admittedly it looked quite muddy when you got close, and then seemed nice when you stood a bit further back from it.

more bikes!

Again, these bikes are just everywhere! But I really do like it, this city is quite environmentally friendly... well they try to be, especially with their buses and some taxis being run on biogas.

Creepy man

A close up of the fountain on Stora Torget. This man seems quite creepy, will have to try and learn the story behind it.

Barn shaped houses

A lovely house on Storgatan. A lot of the houses in Linköping have this barn shape to them, Although most of them are not stone. I really like them as we don't use this kind of architecture in Australia.
