Ustka summer beach scene

After our visit in November 2006 we returned to Ustka in August 2007 to see how it was. The place was packed! This is a very popular place for the Poles on summer holiday. 90% of the visitors were Poles. When the Scandinavians & English discover how inexpensive Poland is they may start visiting here. The Promenade by the beach is very nice with lots of restaurants, shops, & pubs to visit. There are 2 very good restaurants along the harbor. There is also a nice American-style buffet restaurant next to the lighthouse with computers for Internet access. The main languages spoken are Polish & German, but more of the younger people there are speaking English. For an inexpensive stay at the Baltic, come here. The East side beach is very crowded. If you take a walk over the bridge to the West side, you'll have much more room. If you want to experience the real-Polish-deal, this is the place!

Just like the lemmings!

Ustka Harbor

The harbor has a pirate boat & all the fishing boats along it with some nice restaurants.
