I just got back from a whirlwind month with two weeks in Germany and Italy, back home for a few days the off to Puerto Rico for a week. Three different cultures and languages and types of food! whew. I am ready to hang out at home for a bit and doing all that was great fun, a wonderful life experience it also makes me appreciate what I have at home.

Germanys oldest city is Trier and it is nice, it is only one stop to make if you take a trip up the Mosel like I did. It is a wonderful area of Germany to visit. YOU get to see the local area without the big city feel. The small towns have been intact for hundreds of years. Great wine and if you like German food there are lots of great restaurants too.
