JM, Cara and Nica at Southbank

Southbank, Brisbane

Southbank is a sandy beach on the Brisbane River next to the city. Locals catch a bit of sun during lunch-time breaks, while tourists gawk at the nubile bods. Close to the cosmopolitan suburb of West End.

Noosa, Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast has a more relaxed atmosphere than the glitzy Gold Coast, and Noosa is its crown jewel.

Coolum beach

Coolum, Sunshine Coast

Unspoilt nature. Coolum is my favourite Sunshine Coast beach. Foam-splattered waves pound the beach in uncompromising fashion. Beautiful in the late afternoon.

Dreamworld, Gold Coast

Dreamworld is a dream for adrenalin junkies. It boasts the Tower of Terror, Giant Drop and other pulsating rides. Looney Tunes look after the kiddies with age-appropriate features.

Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast

Q1, the world's tallest residential building, dominates the famous Surfers Paradise beach. Miles of white sand and pounding surf makes this a perfect venue for the younger set who wants to see... and be seen.

Chinatown, Brisbane

While paling against similar 'burbs in other cities, like Singapore, Brisbane's Chinatown does boast some good Asian restaurants where Yum Cha is a favourite.

Rainbow Lorikeet, Brisbane

Rainbow Lorikeet's flit across Brisbane's azure skies in their multi-coloured splendour. They feed in a multitudinous rainbow at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Glasshouse Mountains

Those strange domes dotting the Sunshine Coast are known collectively as the Glasshouse Mountains.
