Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral that is a hydrous phosphate of copper and aluminium. It is rare and valuable in finer grades and has been prized as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of years owing to its unique hue.

They earn their living by carrying luggages,these people migrated from nepal to india.In local terms they are called 'Bhaiya' or porters.THese people are still in touch with local traditions thats the reason they sport the nose stud ,called 'dhungri'as well as the beads which is the mark of marriage.
