I love World Cinema -especially Spanish language films as well as Chinese films representing so called 'Wuxia' genre such as the ever brilliant 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', House of Flying Daggers' and 'Hero'. Other favourites of mine include 'Tsotsi', 'Amores Perros', 'City of God', "Motocycle Diaries" and Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del fauno).
My all time favourite actors include Li Gong ('Memoirs of a Geisha', 'Miami Vice - the Movie' and 'Curse of the Golden Flower') and Ziyi Zhang ('Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', 'House of Flying Daggers', 'Hero' and 'Memoirs of a Geisha'). I also like Michelle Rodriguez from 'Lost' and 'Girlfight'. |

| | I also love design stuff from the 50s and 60s. My favourite tableware and glassware are made by Iittala. I have been collecting the "Teema" (1952) series and "Kartio" (1958) glassware by a Finnish designer called Kaj Franck for years, but I still don't have all the parts of the collection. Maybe in the future.. Another favourite of mine at the moment is the "Taika" series by Klaus Haapaniemi. However, I have not got a single piece yet. Check it out at Iittala Gosh, it's fab!!! |
