Madrid - where the match took place! | Santiago Bernabeu Stadium |
I enjoyed watching Barca play all year ... and spent the week before the match with some very nice people from Barcelona. Then Sunday came in Madrid, and magic happened. 7 PM. Light dinner sitting at Cafe Gijon in Recoletos. Everyone wearing Real Madrid shirts. Police around the Cibeles installing some crowd control equipment. Football songs in the air. Crowds starting to build around Cibeles. The rest is history.
