Okay... we have been quiet for sometime since out last gathering in June. Let me start the ball rolling again... Satoshi-San (stonefree) from Tokyo is visiting HongKong, and we met up for dinner.

Date: 4 September, 2004 (SAT)

Attendance :
Santoshi-san, stonefree (Tokyo)
Kyoto-san, Santoshi's wife (Tokyo)
Gareth, garethcoker (London)
Vivian, vividvivian (Hong Kong)
Daniel, goglobe (Hong Kong)
Joyce, joyce_hk (Hong Kong)
Virginia, me (Hong Kong)
Helmut, non-VTer (Hong Kong)

Drink @ Felix

6:30pm - We first met up for a drink at Felix in Peninsula Hotel, which over look the Victoria Harbour.

The meeting started a bit quiet, as we were still warming up. Our guests were busy visiting the "world famous" toilet :)

Seafood Dinner @ Lamma Island

7.30pm - We walked over to Tsim Sha Tsui Public Pier, took the 7.50pm boat to Lamma Island. Dinner at Rainbow Seafood Restaurant.

Wow! Beer Session!!!

We can't wait to start our beer session before ordering our dinner. We finished 5 big bottles (or 3, I forgot) before our food came. And of course, we were having the famous Chinese brand "Tsing Tao" Beer

VT Meeting Tradition

If you ask me, what are the things we do in VT Meeting? Well... besides eating, drinking, chating, laughing, meeting new friends, another MUST is the crazy photo session. Almost everybody carry a high-tech digital camera, flashing across the table for hours! And other tables would wonder if we have celebrities in town.

It's like a shooting game, we use camera, not guns.

When did the flash stop?

When the first dish come. Everyone would be busy eating.

We took the 10:10pm ferry back to the city. Santoshi-san, Kyoto-San and Joyce left us, and all the others head over to Lan Kwai Fong to party.

Hi! I'm looking for places where I can perform as a solo artist in HK. Meeting musicians would be very awesome, too! Could you help me out, please? I'd be forever greatful! JASPOIA www.myspace.com/jaspoialee

Dear Vigi, Your HK page is great. We are coming to HK in March 2008 and I will be using your list of factory outlets. Can I buy prepaid local mobile phones at 7eleven? Also, do you think the shopping is cheaper in HK or in Shenzhen? many thanks Pauline

Voyager for me is one of the best restaurants in Hong Kong, the food is fantastic the people are friendly and it really reminds me of a local restaurant in France with a warm welcome and a authentic French interior! You would be silly not to try it!
