A dark and whacky carnival that is ... a carnival of anything dark, innovative, hypnotic, psychedelic or just downright weird. In my musical journeys I tend to stray off the beaten path, I cannot seem to help myself from going against the flow. I abhor conforming to normality.

The album of the moment is ... Dancing with the Dead by Swedish mastermind Peter Tägtgren and his solo effort, PAIN. Industrialized metal with the really hypnotic 'Same Old Song' with slight Russian influences.

I kinda got into this 'industrialised-metal' thing. I am also listening to Samael's (Switzerland) latest offering, Solar Soul - very melodic, modern and groovy.

And now on to some Finnish local bands ... and speaking of groovy, no one does groovy blackened metal like Ajattara does. I just love the unpronouncable Tyhjyys.

Another one from the groovy Finns Ajattara is currently spinning, the latest one called Äpäre. Yep, what I like about this band is that everything is in pure Finnish.
