Food tents frame the Mission

For more photos of and information about the festival, please refer to my Things to Do tip.
Cultural diversity was celebrated in the paintings
The United Nations in microcosm
Faces in the sand

The bright colors in the masks kept them from being creepy.
I feel lavender today...
A new kind of Winged Victory
Modern Saint Raphael?
Several talented young artists from San Rafael High School, including this one, were featured in the festival.
Student artist at work

Love the missions and the buildings (such as Wright''s) that look as if they are built right into the hillside. How do those street painters do it? I would think their butt would erase their work!! :-)
