We left Weesp with one more night to spend before we turned in the boat.
We decided to moor up at the same place we did on our first night when we got the boat. We found a space easily and 2 mins. later another larger boat parked right behind us. So we had no privacy and there was plenty of place, plenty of room. Plus they were a bigger boat who cood look right into our boat. We moved and had a nice quiet place for the night. We walked into town for one beer and went back to our lovely boat.

We had to pass throught the huge canal to get back to where we got the boat. We go right round the outskirts of Utrecht. Sometimes we got really tossed around when a few barges passed at one time. I think a 50 meter boat must be the minimum size for those waters. Jeff remembered where we needed to turn to get back. I had no idea. We had to go through a big lock and then go by a really cute area. Most of the other boat renters were having lunch before they turned the boats in. We got back and were the first ones. Jeff had to back the boat in (a first) and did an excellent job. We noticed that we had lost one of the rubber bumpers from the side of the boat. We did hit the side of those locks a few times, ooops! No questions were asked.
