For those of you who are not familiar with St Paul's Bay I can tell you that alot changes have been done !! This photo is really impressive because its a very old photo and compared to this present day its very hard to recognise the place.

This is one of the many towers that there are around the Maltese islands however funnily enough this one seems bigger than the rest. Today people sit down on benches around this tower as there is a really beautiful view from here.

The name for these small islands was derived from the shipwreck of St.Paul. St.Paul was on his way to Italy to preach Christianity when a storm arose and his boat got shipwrecked on this island and they swam on to the shores of St Paul's Bay. Whilst, he and his friends where warming up around a fire a viper came out of the wood for the fire and bit St. Paul. The people who were there were shocked when nothing happened to St.Paul. This story was told through generations and generations, so this is were the name of St paul's Bay and the islands derived from. Infact, we celebrate this occasion on the 10th February every year.
