Monet's Gardens
My first trip to Paris was with my mother (a young 70 year old!) in May of 1999. One place she insisted on going to was Monet's Gardens, Giverny. And boy am I glad we did...all expectations of this fabulous place were greatly exceeded. The gardens much larger and beautiful than I had ever anticipated.
Getting There: We took a half day tour with Euroscope, probably not the cheapest way to get there but certainly convenient. A van picked us up at our hotel in Paris, the driver spoke of the history and gardens on our drive out, and on the way back he drove through a few of the quaint little towns.
