Remember we live in the desert, Dead Sea, dry, hot, sand, rock, etc. Well this is another view of a desert winter on the plateau above the Dead Sea at a height of 600 meters above sea level. How does our home look draped in white. |

This is Tal in the street in front of our house, not a usual scene for the desert. |

Tal and our neighbor Alice decided to make a desert snowman. |

The next morning the day dawned clear and warmer, the snow started to melt, but we took the day to drive into the surrounding mountains and Yatir Forest. |

As we got higher into the hills, the snow was deeper and did not melt till later in the day. |

We found some deep snow (for us) and Tal and I decided to take this pic, before we started a snow fight. Tal lost of course. |
