This is the entrance to the "Golan" Winery in the Golan Heights. Thats Zohara looking at Tal "driving" the wagon. Sure wish I could fit that barrel of wine in the house. The Golan label is recognized as a world class wine and several labes have won prestigious prizes. Their "classier" wines are out of my price range, being about $35-50 per bottle. They also have an excellent group in the $15 range. |

This is the tasting room. When we were there each person could taste all the wines available and also took a souvenier wine glass home. We still have ours after more than 6 years. The wine is gone though, that didn't last more than a few weeks at most..... |
