The Library/Computer room at home
This is the Library, Computer room, etc. (can you believe that I know where every book is even though there are two levels on each shelf). This pic was taken way back in 1995, there are lots more books there now. What you can't see is the collection of National Geographic Magazines going all the way back to 1914.
The kitchen at home
And of course you have the kitchen, everyone, yes everyone, family, friends, visitors, etc. all know their way around our kitchen. One of the house rules is "Whoever puts the water on to boil, doesn't have to make the coffee", remember that when you visit us. The munchies are on the left, "serious" food on the right....
Honey sucker come to visit, Arad, Israel
Here you can see that even the birds come to visit and have a good meal at the honeysuckles....
Sunset, Arad, Israel
Then others come to visit to sit and catch the sunset from our porch.
Sunset, our porch, Arad, Israel
And if the other sunset was not spectacular enough, just wait a day or so, it will do something to impress even the most jaded sunset viewer.
Martin repairing his bike, Arad, Israel
You can often find me working to repair damage to my mountain bike (the terrain here is mountainous and very, very rocky). Here the back wheel lost a spoke and it had what is called an 8, in other words it was no longer round which makes for hard riding ^O^.
Igloo home in Arad, Israel
Okay I know you are going to ask if we have a community of Inuit here in Arad, well the answer is NO. This is a house that someone built to look like a snowball, I guess they thought it would be cooler in the hot summer of the desert....
Titti helping Tal with makeup, Arad, Israel
Here in Arad friends enjoy helping each other, here Titti helps Tal apply makeup and gives her a few pointers. I don't use very much of it so, I am not a good instructor ^O^

I have really enjoyed your Arad pages....fabulous, interesting and a fascinating insight to the local nature including the flowers and insects. No wonder you have so many guests!! I am very fond of desert terrain.
