They may be dreadfully tourist-y, but the Big Red Bus Tours take you everywhere...we took the optional Thames cruise up to Greenwich for a pint (or more) at a pub! There we saw the real live Cutty Sark, and that ever-present red phone booth. |

Stonehenge and Salisbury I can't even begin to explain how tickled I was to see Stonehenge. I was surprised, however...it's just right out there by the motorway! I guess they're working to make some changes to the layout of the highway, but still looked cool to just drive up and see it standing there! Salisbury (up the road a bit) was a gorgeous old town with an incredible cathedral, and some fine pubs as well! |
Windsor Castle It's a real castle...we don't have those in the States! |
