Here in Portugal we are lucky to have four really different seasons.
And when the warm weather is back the colorful of the ground and of the trees and plentiful activity of the "wild" creatures makes spring the paramount season. Ahh, and usually also the best season for waterfalls and streams.
Of course this is the best time to take some nature snapshots. You don’t even need the "best" camera model; usually just needs:
-some persistence (with digital it’s easy -take 10-20 photos to choose 3 or 4...); particularly for these little guys flying around -bees, flies, butterflies...
-color work (best background for yellow flowers it’s the blue sky while for reddish flowers green leaves are better, etc.); try out all compositions, choose the best; improve; and
-attentive eye - try the rough angle, wait for best sun/dark (training, training, training)

And remember
