- your homepage, on your internet explorer, is set as Virtual Tourist
- you check the comments you receive on your front page a million times a day
- you go out on a trip or to dinner, you take photos with your friends, of the place, and ask the guide/waiter for their business card so you can put their information on your tips pages
- your favourite spot on VT is the Miscellaneous Forum
- your VT name has been listed at least 200 times in the Ladder’s Thread or the Person Below me.
- you ask your other fellow VTers to take group pictures, 'come come let's pictures so we can post it online'
- you surf the internet for two reasons; either to build up your VT pages or corresponding with other VTers about building up your pages
- your partner yells their lung out to call you for dinner, and you, in your coldest tone, say back, 'honey, just a minute. i'm talking to xentatravellen456'.
- you go up to the VT search engine, under Member Search, you look up the VT name i just wrote
- you don't find the name listed, and you're not surprised!
- you start to count how many travel destinations you have been to, only to list it on your travel map even if you may not remember what got you there
- you post all the nice emails and comments you receive on your homepage
- you often complain about the length of forum threads how tedious they get, leave it, just to sign up for another thread in the same forum
- you have an endless collection of budges, pins, hats, shirts, thongs, brochés, all in two colours green and blue; collected from the meetings you've been to; what an authentic VTer
- when you travel solo or in couple, you send out requests to complete strangers asking them to meet over a drink or dinner, then you mark this day on your VT pages as 'a travel date' i mean VT meeting
- most important, you read this, wipe the dust off your brain, clear your mind, trying hard just to add up the VT Qualifications;^) |
