January 22, 2007, we just returned from the BEST weekend in New York City, NY, USA ! We took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty & climbed her platform, paid respects to the WTC area, had hot dogs at Nathan's on Coney Island, saw Mary Poppins on Broadway, had hot chocolate in Times Square and had the most incredible pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli! We will be returning to NYC this year, that's for sure. As always, tips/pics to come...
December 18, 2006, we just returned from a busy weekend in Arizona, USA where we visited Tuzigoot National Monument, Montezuma Castle National Monument, Vulture Peak & mine and most of the Surprise area. It's a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and daily breathtaking sunsets. As always, tips/pics to come...one day soon. :o)
November 19, 2006, we just returned from a very relaxing trip to the most eastern island in the Caribbean, gorgeous Barbados where we hiked in a cave, snorkeled in the ocean, swung in the hammock, enjoyed marlin at an authentic fish fry party w/locals, rented an auto and drove the entire island where we experienced their green monkeys running around our car and had far too many lobster dinners & daquiris at sunset! August 7, 2006, we just returned from a very unique weekend getaway to De Soto, Wisconsin, USA enjoying the Mississippi and sleeping in a refurbished railroad caboose car! As always, tips/pics to come...one day soon. :o)

June 17, 2006, we just returned from an incredible journey through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia w/two very cool layovers in Munich, Germany and London, England. Nothing could have prepared us for the horror of Auschwitz, the beauty of Warsaw's Old Town, the calming countryside of Lithuania, Riga's vibrant and quaint Old Town or Moscow's Red Square and unreal Metro system. St. Basil's was a dreamy sight I still can't get out of my head! As always, tips to come...one day soon. :o)
February 20, 2006, we just returned from gorgeous Ireland and Northern Ireland and I must say...there are loads of pubs in Dublin, the breathtaking Antrim Coast and Giant's Causeway of the Northern Ireland and the incredible/mysterious site of Newgrange all on one island. These are two countries NOT to be missed. Tips to come...one day soon! :^)
