First gig, Willem II - Den Bosch In february 2006 I started singing in a band called Dûh. We started out with a 10-week rock-pop course to hopefully learn a bit about playing in a band. The course ended with a gig in the Willem II in Den Bosch. We only had 4 songs at that time: Paranoid (Black Sabbath), Big Me (Foo Fighters), She sells sanctuary (the Cult) and Word Up (Cameo). Very scary to have 250 people in front of you! There's 5 of us: Appie on drums, Djim on guitar, Marieke on bass, Marja on cello and me - posing as a singer! |

4th gig, Keulse Kar, Den Bosch Our 4th gig already, second one in the Keulse Kar, a café in Den Bosch. We even added some songs to our repertoire! Tricky (Run DMC), Fight for your right (Besty Boys), Painted Black (Vanessa Carlton's version), Hit the Road Jack (Ray Charles) and Glory Box (Portishead). We dropped Big me from the list and added another guitar player: Jantje. |
