natures beauty

nassau - bahamas
located on new providence island, nassau has an attractive harbour, a colourful blend of old world and colonial architecture and a busy port. the tropical climate and the natural beauty of the bahamas has made nassau a popular tourist destination, with a reputation for relaxing and an exciting nightlife.
christ church - barbados

rockley

christ church is a parish of barbados at the southern end of the island. rockley, where i stayed is a condo resort located here. rockley is also close to st. lawrence gap, often abbreviated to " the gap ", which is the most lively tourist area on the island. many of the bars and clubs are well populated by locals and tourists alike.
cape town - south africa

seapoint

sea point is situated on a small stretch of land between a mountain and the sea. as a result, space is at a premium and unlike other " white " suburbs in cape town, houses are built closely together, there are more blocks of flats and there are less public spaces. the most important communal space is the beachfront promenade. this is a paved walkway along the beachfront used by residents and tourists.
isla margarita - venezuela

juan griego

a city of around 45,000 people, it has small shopping centre and nice beaches. some of the best restaurants are in juan griego. la galera is a fortress not far off the city centre, where, in the early 1820's, a fierce battle for independence was fought.
mumbai - india

colaba

colaba is renowned for high-end boutiques, imitation consumer goods and is popular with tourists. colaba is the hippiest neighbourhood in mumbai, serving as the major shopping district for tourists and the locals. it has the old english charm and a very modern " feel " as well. it is also the art capital of the city with all the major art-centers located in and around this place.
negril - jamaica

negril

for years, negrils has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in the world by travel magazines. the north end of the beach is home to large, all - inclusive resorts, and to the south are the smaller, family - run hotels. there is easy access to waters for good snorkeling and diving, with jumping points reaching more than 40 feet high. rick's cafe is a great place to watch the jumpers as well as the awesome sunset.
penang - malaysia

penang

penang island is part of malaysia and is nicknamed " pearl of the orient ". it is located in the straits of malacca. i stayed in batu ferringhi. penang is connected to the mainland by the 13.5 - kilometre penang bridge...one of the longest bridges in asia.
bali - indonesia

bali

bali is an island lying between java to the west and lombok to the east. i stayed in kuta, one of the more popular destinations. this photo taken of the temple tanah lot, located in the south - west part of the island. agriculture is the biggest employer, most notably rice cultivation.
