I can't always say it's something negative with snow. At least I have to admit that it does light up the ground. This photo was taken at 8pm, and it sure wasn't this light at that time the day before.

Gets even better when I could take the photo standing in my bathroom, just through the window. Didn't even have to go out, just perfect! :)

But of course I prefer weather like this. Still very cold though, but when the heaven looks like this I can take a few cold degrees.

Last New Year I'll always remember for the bad weather, but when one of the local newspaper arranged their traditionally firework at 6pm the weather was very nice.
Due to my sister's lazyness I got late to the best position, but at least I managed to get this photo. Quite pleased I've to say.

Goodbye winter, goodbye to the terrible weather! And hello to the Caribbean, hello to azur blue water, and hello to 35 degrees Celcius!

This was the view that met me the first morning. Taken from the breakfast room at the hotel, looking out over the beach and the bay. And knowing that I had 19 days of this to come...

Just perfect!

On our second last day of the trip our boat suddently was surrounded by whales. "Longfin Pilot Whale" (thanks Cassie!), 3-5 meters long.

To be looking at 20-25 whales swimming around you, just a few meters away, was just amazing. Something I never thought would happen in my life.
Sure it would have been even cooler to actually swim with them in the water, but I'll be happy just with this too... :)

The next day the same thing happened again, although this time with dolphins.
