WE WANT A CLEAN GOVERNMENT !!!!! Based on the Lebanese Constitution:
Article 95(3)a: The confessional groups are to be represented in a just and equitable fashion in the formation of the Cabinet
Based on the UN charter of Human Rights:
Article 19 1. Everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference. 2. Everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice. 3. The exercise of the rights provided for in paragraph 2 of this article carries with it special duties and responsibilities. It may therefore be subject to certain restrictions, but these shall only be such as are provided by law and are necessary:
For respect of the rights or reputations of others; For the protection of national security or of public order (ordre public), or of public health or morals. And because we believe that Lebanon is a nation for all Lebanese where equality and fair representation within political and governmental institutions is critical in a multi cultural country such as Lebanon
And since the current government led by Prime Minister Fouad Sanyoura lacks the adequate representation of all Lebanese sects as required by the Lebanese Constitution
We call for the resignation of PM Sanyoura's government and the formation of a new legitimate national unity government based on the criteria below:
Fair and equal participation of all Lebanese confessional groups Platform based on national unity, reconciliation, and resolving main national issues Focus on putting forward a new and Fair election law |
| | It's a brief look at the Lebanese Opposition protests and rallies against the Lebanese government in Beirut. it is the largest protest in the history of Lebanon with the lowest estimates at 800,000 people given by hostile media sources and the highest estimates at about 2 million (which includes estimates given by neutral figures and independent reporters). Lebanese security forces have estimated the size of the rally at (at least) 1.2 million, more than a quarter of Lebanon's population of approximately 4 million people. Yet the Western media continue to describe the rallies as instigated by a pro-Syrian Shia minority. |
| | The colour orange represents the Free Patriotic Movement, the largest Christian political party in Lebanon, which is led by Michel Aoun; the colour yellow represents Hezbollah, generally the largest political party in Lebanon.
There are also pictures of Amal Movement supporters and El Marada supporters in green. El Marada is led by Suleiman Frangieh Jr. a Maronite leader with a strong following in Northern Lebanon. Michel Aoun is also featured addressing the massive crowds and saluting them with the Free Patriotic Movement’s salute which is seen being brandished by many protestors.
Sheikh Fathi Yakan, a Sunni Muslim leader and member of the Lebanese Opposition is also included; he is seen talking to Sunni Muslim clerics.
Christians of various denominations, Muslims (both Sunni and Shia), and Druze all have gathered together in Beirut to demand self-determination in the future of Lebanon. |
| | On her face: As the victory.. the changing is coming , coming ... Famous quote said by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (leader of Hezbollah) when calling the lebanese community to demonstrate against the Filtmen lebanese government : brothers and sisters, from all religions, sects, movements and parties you are indeed victorious… as I said to you in the invitation, as I used to always promise you victory, I promise victory again…them…they are continuing the July-August war, and we continue our battle of defending Lebanon’s identity, unity and integrity. |
