Ghosts of Salisbury.

There are many ghosts in salisbury which have been seen. There is also the famouse ghost walk which takes place outside Salisbury Tourist Information centre in Fish Row, and there is also the Fisherton Files. Here are a few buildings which are repudtedly to be haughted, and a few pubs which have more then thire usuel spirits.

Debenhams in Blue Boar Row:
Originally an in called The Blue Boar, the Duke of Buckingham was beheaded here in the 13th Century for treason, by King Ritchard the 3rd. (King Richard is also connected with the murder of the two princes in the Tower) There are three round stones in the yard where it is thought the Duke was beheaded, they are in the shape of a triangle. In the 1980's one of them was removed by decoraters, and the sprinklers went off mysteriously, causing 5000 worth of damage, and only turned off when the stone was replaced. the fire alarms went off by themselves at about 3.00am in the morning, and a lady came to investigate with her dog. He (the dog) went into every room, except the Dukes where he suddenly became very afraid, the lady tried to move him but he nipped her and ran off. It was very cold in that room, and is right at the top of the building. There is also a little girl who wanders the building, she died in 1840 of Dipherior and has been seen as far as Mr T's cafe.

The Chaugh (Beefeater pub), Blue Boar Row:
Originally a coaching inn is haugnted by a presence who turns the beer taps off, something which takes a lot of strengh.

The Haunch of Venison, Minster Street:
Once a brothel, is one of the oldest pubs in Salisbury. Has open fireplaces, old timbers, and a genuine mummified hand of a gambler who was caught cheating in 1500. The hand (which still holds three playing cards), can be viewed in a glass display unit in a room that is behind the bar. The ghost is of a woman followed by the smell of wet earth.

Watsons, Queen Street:
Here is a ghost dressed like a Cavalaire in black, called Oliver. He is supposed to have died of the Pleague, and has been seen going through an original fireplace in the wall, always followed by the smell of rose's.
