My cousin has a friend who is a taxi driver here in Santa Cruz. For a total of $20 he took us where ever we needed to go on the island. His name is Aureliano and my cousin told him to take us to Rancho Primisias and to the lava tunnels and craters on the highland part of the island. He stayed with us for the most of the day.
Rancho Primisias is a private own ranch/farm that lets the turtles live in thier own natural habitat. The roam freely and are not inclosed. They are also alot greener that the turtles in the Charles Darwin center.
After you have had your fill of turtles there is a restaurant where you can get some food and drinks and souveniers. Here you will also pay an admittance fee. I cant remember how much it was but it was cheap. At the restaurant there are also these turtle shells that everyone likes to take pictures on or in.

Adrian with a giant turtle. They are everywhere, just watch out for the turtle poop everywhere.

The kids had a great time looking for the turtles.

Everytime Rob tried to look at this turtle he would stick his head into his shell.

This is a little pond where the turtles like to gather in. Up here is the highland part of the islands it rains alot.

Adrain and Aureliano looking for more turtles

Be careful while driving on the roads up here in the highlands because the turtles might be on the roads too.
