Travel Tips

This is Simon.
He is the reason I wasn't online for some time now.
I am sorry for not having answered mails on new year wishes etc.

Actually Simon was due in mid of January, but since he did not turn in the right position before week 37 of the pregnancy and I wanted to have a normal birth, we decided to try and turn him from the outside.
That is quite a procedure, done at the hospital. During that there were complications, so they decided to get him out by cesarian. So now he is here. Earlier than expected, but just perfect as he is.

Simon is the cutest baby I have ever seen (I guess that is the sentiment every mother has for her child, but so it is).
He is also very gentle and does almost not cry at all. I hope it does stay as unstressful as that :-)

This is my husband, holding Simon in the grip I call "Leopard grip", it is said to be good if the baby has stomach troubles and they generally like it, too.
It looks like a leopard that is hanging from a tree.
