Friday: DELFT

If you had been following along, we have left
<a href="http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/.150130/article/1281/1/?s=s"="_blank"> Eindhoven</a> and are on the way to Amsterdam via Delft.

We passed many windmills along the way. There are alot of cows too!

Delft has many canals. Here is a little used one we saw while walking around.

New Church

We had lunch at a restaurant in the town square (satay chicken) and then we went to the
Niewue Kerk (New Church). Not so new, it was built in the 1300's! We decided to climb to the top using the claustrophobic circular staircase (yes, we got to pay for the privelege!).

After descending, we were off to Amsterdam. We returned our rental car at the Schipol airport and ended up taking a hotel shuttle into town. Evidently we were the last stop on the shuttle because it took over an hour!
