Snorkel diving on this coral head was great. Extensive cliffs, islands, and hidden coves around the area made the experience incredible.

There's a well-known resort on this uniquely-shaped island near El Nido. I took a spider boat out for a day of snorkel diving and island hopping around the sound. Absolutely incredible and hardly saw a soul for the whole day, just great, empty beaches.

The "big lagoon" was also devoid of people and I swam around and looked at birds and fish.

I discovered this fella on the wall of my bungalow. He must have liked the air conditioning. I let him stay as I theorized that geckos probably eat mosquitos.

One of hundreds of deserted islands between Palawan and Coron. I rented a big boat for the day and went on an extended cruise from El Nido over to the other side of Palawan to a little resort called Flower Island.

While traveling by bus along the dirt road between Puerto Princesa and El Nido, got a shot of a guy out on a little dugout canoe on one of the rivers. The rainforest on the interior of the island was amazing to someone like me who had never seen a true jungle before.

My boat took me ashore on one of the deserted islands... the water and views were simply outstanding.
