My Own Backyard Album 3 (The Ocean/Seas)

by nixca316 - last update: Jan 2, 2007

Just a few of the many Philippine seascapes (????)

Dad's company, Asian Terminal's Inc. where he is currently a member of the Board of Directors, had this big grains terminal opening. Instead of the very loooooong land trip, we went on a mini-cruise =)

Somewhere in Cebu

Here's a picture of my mother with some of our relatives in Cebu. I included this because Cebu is one my favorite places in the world.

Isn't Enzo cute?

Before my nephew and godson Enzo even learned to walk, he was already basking in the sun. This picture was taken at Paradise Beach Resort at Samal Island, Davao. Until now, Paradise is one of his favorite beaches.

See, PG really loved the ocean!

While I was studying ballet and all those other forms of dancing, all of my brothers were having their swimming lessons...they all got hooked in swimming at an early age.

PG in particular loved to try swimming anywhere (except maybe the swamp or the Amazon river---hehehehhe---or the Congo---or where there are sharks---hey, stop it, they get the idea).

One of the rare moments of friendship

PG and RJ were not friends during PG's latter years...they fought a lot, except when they were at the beach

I like this picture in color, but...

Buying a new scanner is the least of my priorities.

I took this picture during PG's birthday the year before he died (ergo, September 16, 2002) somewhere in Tanza, Cavite.

(thanks, Carole, for improving the picture...HAPPY NEW YEAR!)
Happy birthday, PG

If not for RJ's big tummy, this picture would have been perfect! ;p

Why? It really shows his appreciation of the ocean. Just look at his face. =)

Is it obvious that I just ate? ;p

After almost 20 years, I saw my foster sister (we sorta, kinda adopted her for a year), Laureen Velasco, at the Manila Yacht Club...The service crew couldn't get our pictures right. They claimed it was because the place where we wanted to have our pictures taken was against the light... I tried taking a picture of myself...hmmm, my teeth look like there's something in between---hehehhehe---we just ate.

I'll post our pictures once she sends me everything. =)
@ the Manila Yacht club last Dec. 13 =)
