I spend a lot of my time either on the water or under it. Sail boats are a passion of mine......nothing better. I used to think that chasing around in a high powered flybridge cruiser or Scarab was the best until I learnt to sail many years ago. You cannot beat the feel of the wind in your hair, the spray on your face and the excitement you feel when you race others.

The following pics were taken on Sydney Harbour January 2007. Had to include the Manly ferry a Sydney icon in front of another well known piece of architecture.

Sydney.......beautiful one day , perfect the next.

There were many tall ships in the harbour preparing for the race on Australia Day.

Busy a harbour today.......lots of traffic

View from the boat across towards Sydney Tower, Where on a clear day you can have a commanding view of the city.

Sailing towards Circular Quay. This is where you can catch ferries to Taronga Zoo, Manly and many other parts of the harbour and Parramatta.

A day pass in Sydney will allow you to travel on all ferries and trains for under $15 AUD (subject to change)

You will not see anything like this anywhere else in the world.....

Couldn't put photos of the harbour in here with out the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This photo was not taken from the yacht..... I actually do disembark occasionally !!
