| Former Albion Hotel and quilts |
It's a long time since they poured any beer at the Albion Hotel. But it has a prominent central position in the town and now is occupied by an antique shop and a cafe. |

| | The quilts shown in this travelogue are just a few of those displayed around Braidwood during the annual 'Hanging of the Quilts' event. Many more were displayed in the streets and in other buildings. I have photographed and included these because I think they make good photographs - but I am not a quilt expert, so these are not necessarily the most complex or the best made quilts! |

adelaidean Wed Oct 1, 2008 10:40 UTC the pub looks great! trust me to see that one..LOL | balhannah Fri Aug 22, 2008 21:39 UTC Every time I see your page, I wonder if your knickname is after 'Triabunna' in Tasmania. Enjoy reading your pages. | Pawtuxet Thu May 1, 2008 11:22 UTC Enjoyed the view of your little park and rotunda. Reminded me of our Pawtuxet Park. We call our park structure a gazebo. I'll send a pic. | Ekaterinburg Wed Apr 16, 2008 22:35 UTC From Paris to Braidwood in one small virtual flick. The 1800's houses are indeed very interesting. In fact the town is obviously much bigger than I had thought. Cute little boys in the Ant's nest photo :)) |
