Ok, so I said 1st camping trip of '06 but really, it was my first camping trip in about 7yrs.

We finally broke down and bought our tent (for your true outdoor experience!) and headed about 80 miles north of our home in Buhl to take in the breathtaking views of the Sawtooth Mtns around Sun Valley/Hailey. Having never camped here before, it was a wonderful 5-day experience for us, and the dogs. The area we stayed didn't require us to pay any sort of camping or site fees to be there. Of course that means that you get the luxury of finding your own private (sometimes) and beautiful spot! It also means what you bring in, you take with when you leave (but any responsible camper should know that). About the only thing provided at many of the various sites is a fire pit for cooking or staying warm.

Ok, so I took a picture of a deer that was within 20 feet of our campsite but because I was trying not to scare it away, I basically ended up with a black picture with 2 barely visible glowing eyes. So imagine if you will, a pretty little deer below where a picture should be! :)
