Istanbul is the only city in the world situated in two continents.
On the left you can see Europe and on the right Asia
there is two bridges which makes the connection.The one in the pictures is called Fatih sultan Mehmet bridge immomerating the Sultan who takes the city in 1453 when he was only 23 years old.
On the left side of the pictures you can also see the castle of rumeli build in 4 months.There is another one in the opposite direction on asia side called Anadolu castle.The aim was to control the black sea wessels logistic to the city. |

uskudar The picture shows the asian side of the city Uskudar is situated in the asiatic side.according to the legend istanbul was build "opposite of the those who were blind" uskudar and kadikoy (chalkeddon in the old times)
