Avesnes is situeted on about 25 km from Belgium border. On the Nationale 2 way (Brussel - Paris )
It is a interesting city for started a walk. It has a long history and there any building to pay attention for.
So on 4th sunday of september 2006 we did ! |
|  | Wr where 12 man and woumens for a walking journey. We did about 20 km around. The landscape is beautiful : |
On the way we had beautiful views on the collegiale Saint Nicolas.
Of course the old city is situeted on the top of a hill | | |
| | We walked on little road in the middle of the fields. |
Every our, we make a break for drinking something or eating fruit | | |
| | The morning we where most of the time on little hills. |
We where lukky and have good wheater | | |
| | good boots are necessary |
