I made a quick stop in Pittsburgh, PA to see a Pirates game, and spent a few days at my home in Lucinda. Also had family and friends down to Delaware for the NASCAR race. May, June, July & August 2005 -- I am entering my last full month here, and life in Kuwait grows old... I'm ready to return to the United States in September. Temps up to 123 (and only getting hotter!) & very windy pretty much every day. I continue to search for the holy grail and other lost treasures to no avail. On 3 July I made a quick trip up to the Iraqi border about an hour away. Hundreds of trucks hauling reconstruction supplies lined up to go into Iraq, but not much else exciting. I also visited Kuwait City International Airport twice in June for a change of scenery. |
