On a nice sunny mondayafternoon I had a mini meet with canadian:
Sibbella (Melissa).
Appointment at the central station at Delft 13:00 hr.
From here we walked to the center of Delft.
First we visited the
"New (old) Church".(see:
history)After that a lunch. Melissa ate the famous dutch "Kroketten".
From here we went to the Tourist Information Center.
Than a 15 minutes walk to the
"Porcelijne Fles". (see:
Delft Blue)Here we had a guided tour at the factory wich was very interesting.
After a coffee we decided to go to Den Haag (The Haghe) for a quick look at
the
"Vredespaleis" (Peace Palace).(see:
PeacePalace)From here of to
Scheveningen! (Melissa refused to prenounce that word!) (See:
ScheveningenInfo)Then we went back to The Haghe for a visit at
Madurodam. But, helas, it was just closing time...,but we could make 1 pic!
