Travel Tips

I think it's really cool to be able to read some personal details about people here on VT, that's why I've decided to write something more about myself.

The thing I consider very important is my nationality, I'm Polish, it's important for me because wherever I was after one minute of talk everybody asked me where I was from. Do I have strong accent? :-)
I spent in Poland 23 years of my life, after that I decided to go to the US. I never really had an American dream and even when I was leaving for NJ I took only one backpack because I thought that I'd stay there only 4 months. But, I was luck enough to visit SF and I decided to stay longer than a few months. I stayed there 4 years.

I think that nothing happens without a purpose. I stayed in the US longer that I planned, because something was going to happen. I didn't know what till I met Giovanni. He's Italian and I'm Polish and I cannot believe that we needed to go to the States to meet. The life is unpredictable.

After two years of being together Giovanni asked me to marry him on the 30th of January 2005 in Bodega Bay, CA.
We decided to start our new life in Rome where we got married last year.
So my new Italian life has just started :)

I need to say that even though I was excited about moving to Rome, it was difficult for me to leave all my great friends back in SF.
Hi to all of you: Sofia, Dorotka, Kasia (my roommates), Paul, Francisco, Chris, Yukimi, Luciano, Iris (now in Lima) and Yann.
I was so lucky to meet in City College of SF the best party friends ever!!!

There are lots of things that make me happy. I like traveling, but not necessarily to well known places with a guide "10 the most important things in ..."
I really enjoy wandering around small towns and neighborhoods where you cannot meet tourist.
Besides traveling I love a sea, swimming and riding a bike.
Surely I enjoy a lot VT and photography. I'm planning to attend a photography course this year. Hope my photos will get improved thanks to it.

I dream about going to Peru, Scandinavia and lots of places in Italy which are amazing and not so far away.
